People kept approaching me, saying that I looked like so-and-so, varying from their niece to a movie star. I never knew what to say, since I did not see it that way. What I decided was that somehow my energy reminded them of someone familiar, sort of an every-woman. It inspired this piece. It went through various iterations, as I met other look-alikes on the way.
