I have lived, studied and worked in three countries. I was born in The Hague, the Netherlands. New York City was my adopted city for 20 years, after which I lived in Belgium for 14 years, close to Antwerp, where I got my master’s degree in fine art photography. Since 2023 I am living close to nature in the south of the Netherlands.

My work has been shown in museums, galleries and festivals in the USA, Australia and Europe. Works and small installations are part of corporate and private collections. My book Of a different Nature …, but from the same Planet was especially popular in Japan.
